  2. Installing ACCIS 2.03 without the SETUP Utility

  5. You must first delete any and all ACCIS Data and Programs from your
  6. system.  Old file structures WILL NOT WORK with 2.03.
  7. You must also delete ACCIS.CFG which is located in your root directory
  8.  
  9.  
  10. 1)      Create a Directory for ACCIS
  11. 2)      Unzip ACCIS in that directory
  12. 3)      Copy all .DLL and .VBX files into your \Windows\System\ directory
  13. 4)      To save space, once copied, you may delete all .DLL and .VBX
  14.         from your ACCIS dirctory.
  15. 5)      Setup Global Options
  16. 6)      Setup CompuServe Information
  17. 7)      Setup Modem Information
  18. 8)      Create a Basket by the name of "MAIL"
  19. 9)      Add a forum area
  20. 10)     Add some message areas to forum
  21. 11)     Check off Read New Messages, Upload New Messages, etc. for forum
  22. 12)     Add more forums and repeat steps 10 & 11
  23. 13)     Run Automated Pass

  26. ACCIS will send a letter to us stating that you are using ACCIS.  This will
  27. happen until you have a good pass.  Don't be alarmed if you see it sending a
  28. message.  After you have a complete pass, you will now see a status box
  29. telling you how many messages and files it is processing.
